Launch of the 1st VRI-RIP Session

We are delighted to announce the commencement of the VRI-RIP (Research In Progress) sessions, a new initiative under the banner of ASPIRE Precision Medicine Abu Dhabi’s Virtual Research Institute (VRI). The VRI-RIP series is set to be a bi-weekly gathering centered on scientific presentations and discussions on the ongoing research within our different VRI Themes and Platforms.

Who's the speaker?

Prof Basel Al Ramadi, a renowned figure in the field, will have the honor of presenting the first VRI-RIP session. He will shine a light on the ongoing research in his labs within the all-important Cancer Theme.

What is the event about?

Each of the VRI-RIP sessions will be science-focused and interactive, designed to foster collaboration between teams within and across our different themes and platforms. Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of what is happening in various labs, equipping them with the knowledge to drive innovation and discovery.

These sessions are much more than a simple exchange of information – they are an excellent opportunity to share ideas, offer suggestions, find solutions, and streamline data collection and sharing. We believe this initiative will go a long way in enhancing collaboration and the collective pursuit of scientific advancement.

When is the event?

The first session is scheduled for next week Thursday. We encourage everyone involved in the VRI Project to attend and invite their team members to join as well.
