Brain Health Workshop
The ASPIRE Precision Medicine Research Institute, in collaboration with the NYUAD Center for Brain and Health, is thrilled to announce the second annual Brain Health Workshop. This essential event is scheduled for April 23 & 24, 2024, at NYUAD, marking a significant date in our calendar dedicated to advancing brain health research and education.
Workshop Overview
This workshop is specially designed for advanced undergraduate and early graduate students, as well as biomedical research professionals interested in the critical analysis of normative brain and health data within the UAE. The event aims not only to enhance participants’ understanding and skills in this area but also to broaden the scope of brain science research and career opportunities in the UAE.
Focus Areas
Participants will delve into both basic and advanced concepts related to magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and genetics. The workshop will introduce practical tools and methodologies for working with extensive MRI and genetic datasets, offering a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience. Through a series of interactive sessions, our attendees will learn to navigate and analyze these complex data sets effectively.
